"I'm off to work at camp!

The post that I was supposed "to continue" will not be continued...lol, sorry.
I am leaving tomorrow to go to work at a camp for a couple of weeks. I will be working on kitchen staff. Its a little bit nerve racking, because I've never been gone from home longer than 2 weeks, but it is also exciting. Please pray that I can be a witness there and that I will be a servant/blessing to the rest of the staff.
I FINISHED ALGEBRA 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yipee!!
Not too much has been going on except getting ready for this and finishing up school. The rest of my siblings went to my grandmom's house, my mom is going to visit her dad, and my dad is VERY VERY busy at his work. He leaves around 5 in the morning and doesn't get back till LATE at night. I still prefer that over a deployment though!
I will post again when I return. God bless y'all!
Love,
Arya

Thanks for the comment!
I think my teacher is just a traditional one. I didn't know there are certified Suzuki teachers out there lol. My teacher is actually very young, I think she's like 18.
My 9yo sister, Amber is taking violin lessons also...our teacher comes to our house every Tues and teaches us separately for 30min each.
I'm just now learning Minuet 1 and 2.
Yes! I love to play hymns! That's what I love to play best although I only know like 4 so far. Let's see I know: Praise ye the Lord, Amazing Grace, Tis so Sweet, Nothing But the Blood...I think that's it lol.
The last Sunday before the Dawsons left for Texas, I played Amazing Grace with Jeremy(guitar), and Emily(flute) at church. We also played at the nursing home.
That was a sad day to say the least lol.
I've been looking out for a good hymn book to learn more hymns and also I'd like to learn some fiddle tunes. Do you like to play fiddle tunes?
What kind of violin do you have?
How much do you practice each day? I haven't practiced in a while because of vacation lol.

Hope you are having fun at camp! :)

That's SO neat because I am leaving this Sunday to volunteer for a camp for kitchen duty as well! LOL.

Anyway, I hope everything is going well and I will be praying for you! If you get this in time, please pray for me as well!

Love,
Brooke.

Hi Jordan!
Good to hear from you :). Just wanted to let you know that I've been thinking about you, and praying for you.
I read about your experiences at camp on Jeremy's blog. I hope the Lord gives you the opportunity to maybe talk to some of those people. You being an example alone can be a great testimony. But, if your anything like me, I have a hard time speaking up in situations like that. I pray God will give you the words to say, if you get a chance.
I am so bad about being shy around new people. I started volunteering at the hospital Monday, and I was with a young lady for like 4 hours and I didn't say hardly anything to her! Then later when she asked me what school I go to I said, "I'm home-schooled"...it was like she was thinking, "Oh so that's what's wrong with this girl." You know, the facial expressions and all. it can be aggravating at times.

Well thanks for stopping by Jordan! I hope you are having fun :0)

God Bless, Holly

Hey Jordan! Lol, I am really enjoying getting to know you too!
I know what you mean, I can take Christian fellowship for granted sometimes too. I take a lot of things for granted actually. It's sad, and something I need to work on. That's one thing about being a Christian, there's always room for improvement!

LoL, yes, I like necklaces and I think...hmmmm let me think.......I guess I like medium length. Not too short where it's like a choker, but not too long either. LoL sorry I have to get complicated with such a simple question! No, I don't make my own jewelry. I bet that would be a fun hobby though :)
I need some more hobbies, I get bored a lot in the summertime. LOL

Hope you are doing well also! I'll be praying for you, Jordan. When will you be back home?

Love,
Holly

I was right! lol. You have to tell me how it went, when you get the chance!

We went to pick up Brooke today :)
I'm so glad she is back home!

It's funny how y'all both went to camp at the same time(except you were gone for two weeks), did kitchen duty, and came home on the same day! What a coincidence lol.

Love,
Holly
